[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=background,http://i52.tinypic.com/4rdnx3.jpg,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true] ☆ CONTESTS note: this was not written by me, it was written by waz, a former admin of destins infinis. i do not in any way claim it as my own. the contests here will be based off of the show, not the game. this means that you will present your pokemon in the first round in the most fascinating manner in order to get scored by the judges. they will each give you a number 1-10, which can also be a decimal. these scores and taken and the average is found. but the judges will discuss scores and average them all in a thread the contestants have no access to. this makes it more of a surprise. next, the top eight from the performance round will be given out, and their scores will be shown. these top eight will randomly be paired up for battling. in contest battles, the strength of the pokemon aren't always the deciding factor. it is the dodging and moves and general appeal that is judged. the judging for the battling will have points taken away based on failed moves or hits. once the first battles are done, we move on to the final 4, then go down to the final 2, and then the winner is chosen from that. the winner of certain contests gets the phoex ribbon. this allows access to the grand phoex contest. the winner of the contest cannot compete in any other school contests that offer the phoex ribbon as a prize for winning. this is also the same for the runner up, who gets access to the grand phoex contest as well. PERFORMANCE GUIDELINES 1. each contestant can only post once and must include anything they want in that. 2. they can use props, seals, food, anything to make your performance better. 3. the judges will be chosen from three non-contestants. 4. these judges will give you a rating from 1-10 and then the average will be taken from these scores. 5. the top eight scores will be posted up and those contestants will move onto the battle rounds. 6. the pokemon you choose for this round cannot be used in the battle round. BATTLING GUIDELINES 1. please make things fair. if we catch you dodging more than 2 times in a row, you will lose points. 2. this is a full out battle to show off your pokemon. make it interesting for everyone reading. 3. the judges will take away points each time your opponent dodges or an opponent's attack lands. 4. you will have up to 5 posts each to complete your battle. 5. the pokemon you choose for the battle round will be different than your pokemon for the performance round.
