[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,490,true][bg=ffffff] WINONA ROSE DECKER
distinguishing features : dyes her hair basically all the time.
▪ outgoing winnie's always been outgoing, the one who's always first to say hi and introduce herself to you. she's rather friendly, sometimes a little too much. she'll always assume that you don't mind her there, because she herself hates being alone, and would rather have someone there with her, whether it's the best person in the world or not. ▪ low self esteem winnie's always been a little insecure, especially about doing things in front of people. of course, it's a bit of a problem when being a coordinator requires performing in front of a crowd of people and getting judged on it, but she's slowly been getting better at it. thing is, she's good at what she does, it's just when she gets in front of people that she just clams up and can't seem to do anything. ▪ naive/prudent winnie was the youngest child (by ten years, no less) an with losing melissa in the car accident, her parents had always been a little more protective when it came to her. they brought her up with some old-fashioned views in hopes that it would protect her, and in a way, it did make an impression on her. she doesn't really swear at all and dresses fairly moderately. there are still things she doesn't know about, but if she does know, she tends to be a bit of a prude about things. otherwise, she more or less has the mindset of a four year old. ▪ optimistic winnie's just super optimistic. she thinks everything in the world is ~*~wonderful~*~ and this more or less leads to her naivety. she's also a little bit stubborn, and it'd hard to try and tell her otherwise. she thinks everything should be wonderful and pretty and covered with glitter and color. maybe some frosting. she doesn't really understand negativity, or at least, if she does, she tries her hardest to avoid it. ▪ a good eye she's always had a good eye for beauty, especially with her helping out and setting the flowers for her mother's store. she could arrange flowers one would never think of putting together and make it look rather pleasing and make something look simple and engaging all at once. she's always been careful and took good care with all her things and is kind of a neat freak as well. when it comes to pokemon, she's even more so. she'll spend hours just grooming her pokemon, loving them and making sure they look absolutely gorgeous.
▪ six years old being around ten years younger than the rest of her siblings, winnie's always cast out from their "big kid" activities. so she comes by her mom's flower shop to help. it's not really a flower shop more than a gardening one, but she still likes to call it the flower shop. flowers are pretty, and molly loved helping her mother out in the shop. eventually she became knowledged in gardening as well. ▪ seven years old in a car accident, melissa dies. everyone was in the car and everyone suffered injuries, but melissa was the only one whose injuries were fatal. winnie's mother had her right side crushed and her right leg was mangled (and had a prosthetic made for her, though she still requires a cane). winnie, geoffry and her father only suffered minor injuries, cuts and bruises. the family grew closer and more of a close-knit union. ▪ eleven years old the decker family has their first personal encounter with a pokemon, as none of them had jobs that required interaction with them. winnie found a stray poochyena and brought it home. she named it lissa (and fortunately it was a girl) and was rather determined to keep it. her dad was against it at first, but everyone slowly warmed up to the poochyena, all rather willing to fill up the empty spot where melissa had been. ▪ thirteen years old winnie's always been the "follower" when in a group of friends, kind of allowing herself to be walked all over. one day it goes a little too far and everyone notices a distinct change in her. much too quiet now, she pulled away from the rest of her friends and spent most of her free time either at home (alone, as her siblings had already moved out, minus lissa) or at her mother's store, now able to do more than just water the plants or organize the tools. ▪ fifteen years old winnie had always loved lissa the most (the two were best friends) and she always had a good eye for looks, especially when setting up flower decorations. both her parents didn't really think much of it, until one day a coordinator stopped by their shop and had a conversation with molly's mother. he told her about an academy called phoex, where kids learned from the best on how to become coordinators. her parents talked it over that night and asked molly if she'd like to go to phoex and become a coordinator. she left for her first year that august. ▪ eighteen years old winnie returns to her third year at phoex. count: 487 when fauste openly insulted her new pokemon, chey had to bite back a retort. right. pokemon. she didn't like 'em; never have, never will. still, she didn't appreciate her friend making a joke at her pokemon's expense. chey might not give a shit about them, but ... well, she cared just a little. not that fauste had to know. the other girl might just make fun of her and cheyenne would never live it down. she could just hear her nasally voice, mocking. instead of snapping a retort of her own, cheyenne just shrugged, looking away from the little pokemon. "whatever, at least it doesn't look like a blue dumpling." with a little huff, she nodded in the direction of the piplup, who looked like he was having a bit of trouble just walking. deftly, she tapped the joint, the cool night wind picking up the ashes and letting them fly. if fauste wasn't going to take it from her, she wasn't going to complain. she took a hit, and then another one, before holding the joint out for her friend. she let the smoke out slowly, barely exhaling as it trailed out in a thick cloud. "you know," cheyenne said, blinking. her eyes felt heavy already. "for someone who said they hate pokemon, you have a fucking shitload of them." in all honesty, she was rather curious to see how fauste would handle having so many pokemon. she could barely take care of herself--how was she supposed to take care of pokemon? creatures who depended on her for everything. by the way she took care of the piplup, chey knew that her friend would have a rather interesting career in front of her. her mind was starting to get a little cloudy as she stared at the horizon, which was quickly darkening with the exit of the sun. "i mean, if i didn't know any better, i'd say you actually liked them." with a teasing smile, cheyenne picked up the bottle of beer again, watching fauste's reaction as she drank. the torchic had been halfway through the oran berry--getting blue juice everywhere--when he heard the pokemon. there were other pokemon? here? wildly, he looked up, only to see that there was a silver eevee on the blanket with him. he froze, in fright, as he braced himself for what was going to come next. a fight? was that what he wanted? well, he could fight! he would defeat this eevee into the ground! but the dangerous look in his soon disappeared with the few steps that the eevee took. well, he didn't look mean. and ozzy definitely wasn't too up for fighting. instead, he let out a friendly chirrup and nudged the remnant of the oran berry over to the other pokemon, smearing blue juice everywhere. "torr~" the pokemon said with a smile--or at least, the best you could smile with a beak. c0met that'd be me, awesome role player of idk years. i'm a girl in case you didn't know, and i'm 17 years old just for the record. does my name sound familiar? that might be because i also control the awesome cheyenne & lacey, 'kay? in case you need me you can get ahold of me through pm & aim. oh and also, yay for c/p-ing posts~~.
