ANNOUNCEMENT: astéri city unveiled!

well guess what, ladies and gentlemen! aleus finally has a city again! and with a new city comes new attractions. so welcome all to astéri city, aleus' shining star. here you'll find new locations to socialise in, as well as a few new generators that are sure to get you excited. and not only that, but we've got something in store for all the members to join in on.

so what you see in astéri isn't necessarily all you get. do you think we're missing something? a generator to replace items you no longer need? a subway station? a theatre? this is where you come in! below, reply with your idea, and on september 21st, we'll make a poll of all the choices. whichever receives the most votes will be your new city location! exciting, right? i thought so. so get your brains in gear and help stars grow, kiddies.

a painter dude. so you can convert the shiny on a shiny pokemon to another pokemon of your choice. THAT YOU ALREADY HAVE IN YOUR PARTY BTW. it'd be like. massive money though~ 8D

I like the incubator idea for eggs, but not really for happiness posts. xD Happiness posts are supposed to be a pain in the butt to get, and we already have the Grooming sisters, so we don't really need that. xD I do like the incubator idea, though. Maybe likw 2-300 for each posts gained. So if it's in there for five posts, it'll be like 10-1500 to get it back? And maybe it should have to stay in for a while, so you can't say you want it to gain fifteen posts, and then it gains it and you take it out and boom hatching. Maybe like 12 hours for each two posts, so 6 for every one? So like 2 posts - 4-600 - 12 hours until you can pick it up?

I don't really like the shiny idea, though, Starzy. Dx It seems like a cop-out. "LOLOL, DON'T LIKE THIS SHINY? TRADE IT TO ANOTHER, NBD." idk. xD I don't like it much. Especially since shinies are rare, but it seems that'll go down if you can just transfer the shininess to something you actually like. Maybe we could have it to where you can trade in a shiny pokemon for another shiny pokemon, guaranteed? Sort of like a Mystery Man 3.0 or something? You'll keep the levels and everything but the pokemon physically changes? idk. Just a thought. xD

I was also thinking that like a Pokeathalon Dome or something, like from HG/SS, would be fun? And because I don't think I've ever seen apricorns being given away, there could be like a prize store that changes every week, and an aprijuice store that sells aprijuice and whenever you use it on a pokemon, it's counted as a mod thread and a mod comes around and says what the pokemon gained and/or lost as the result? We don't have to have every kind of event always, but maybe like one month it could be a Speed course, and another month could be the Power course. Prizes could be points that can be redeemed at both stores, though the Aprijuice store would also take currency. And this would be open to both students and teachers/grads? Also, just an idea. xD

for incubators, i was thinking someone would post leaving their egg, and every 24 hours = a post? or maybe 12. but something like that, so it's not instantaneous. and depending on how long it was is how much it cost. unless that's what you mean. then nvm. 8|


i like the pokeathalons though! idk how the events would work, though. D:


also, what about little mock contests? :D for the students to practice and for teachers/grads to hone their skills. B) like, just the appeal round or just the battle part. and it won't be a full-on tournament, just between two people, so they can practice.

Yeah, that's basically what I was saying. xD I was thinking that when putting their eggs in, they could say how many posts they wanted it to gain and then a mod could come around and state how long it would be/how much it would be/the date (and time) when it could be picked up. Maybe there could even be a schedule in the first post of saying when which egg could be picked up to try and make it easier.

And I was figuring that the events would sort of be handled like the contests are; meaning everyone posts once per "game" (like each events has three separate games in it in the games) and then the mod in charge (maybe this job could be rotated so no one mod/admin had to deal with it all or something) could post stating how it all went and award points and possibly deduct points for like falls or knocking obstacles or something. Whoever has the most at the end wins? That's why I was suggesting each event be like a month long. xD

And oooh. You mean like in the contest hall? 8D I like this idea. It could also be where the contests for the teachers/grads are held, but the students can have practice contests here, or practice contest rounds to work on whatever they need to improve on.

you can now mm shinies for other shinies in the mystery man 1.0 only.
you will have the normal 1 in 200 chance of a shiny if you try to post in the 2.0 thread.
