alright, so as you guys might or might not know, stars is going to be six months old on march 22nd. <3 that's pretty damn significant, i think. 8D so jordy, raele, and i all think it'd be totally awesome to set up a promo in celebration of six months. plus some random facts paya thinks are cool.
1. 6 of our 8 current staff members joined within a week of stars first opening on september 22nd.
2. hey, did you guys know that raele originally made stars on may 3, 2009 under the name destins infinis?
3. in 5 and a half months we've averaged about 202 topics and 801 posts each month. in other words, that's approximately 9 topics and 36 posts a week, rounding down.
5. our largest number of guests online in a day was 176.
6. we currently have 42 members, 31% of which have been on in the past day... which is actually a lot, considering.
cool, right~? SO. like i mentioned before, we decided to do a promo to celebrate stars turning six months old. what that means is, this will run until one of two things happen; 10 people post besides the three admins, or march 22nd rolls around. what happens is, you'll post a type of pokémon you want (excluding dragon), and a staff member will randomize a pokémon of that type for you. but since stars is turning six months, there has to be something special about it, right? well, there's not just ONE special thing, but SIX. what a number, eh? here's the deal, bbs.
FIRST: all pokémon will be level 10.
SECOND: pokémon have a 1 in 20 chance of getting a dream world ability in addition to their normal ability.
THIRD: if a second or third stage pokémon is randomized, it will be a level 10 version of that pokémon rather than its first form.
FOURTH: all pokémon will have six moves; mods will add egg and/or tm and hm moves to fill up all six slots.
FIFTH: the change of randomizing a shiny pokémon will be 50 in 200 instead of 1 in 200.
SIXTH: if a pokémon has a chance of holding an item, it will automatically be given to you holding that item.
a note to mods: you ARE able to randomize restricted pokémon here. you are also able to give away dual type dragons (ie flygon can be randomized under ground) if you randomize them; members are restricted only to not asking specifically for a dragon type. second and third stage pokémon are still level 10 regardless of when they evolve. oh and if a pokémon for some reason can't learn six moves like magikarp just randomize again.

REMEMBER, this is one pokémon per member, not character, and you MUST have at least one accepted character before posting. in addition, if you play one character and they are a student, you must have gotten their starter before you post.
PS if you mm any of these pokémon, you still get all the bonuses on the new pokémon. <3 just because i'm a nice admin. you also get all bonuses on other mmed pokémon with the exception of them being level 10.
