All staff updates and announcements will be posted here. This can be anything from rule updates to contests, promos, and anything else the staff feel like mentioning. all contests and promos will begin respectively with 'CONTEST:' or 'PROMO:'. less important staff mentions will begin with 'UPDATE:' and important staff mentions will begin with 'ANNOUNCEMENT:'. Please pay full attention to this board, especially in such case of an announcement. Note: Members are allowed to reply here, but cannot start threads.

Occasionally the staff will think up some awesome ideas for the members to participate in with their characters. When these things happen, they will be posted here. Some plots have requirements; when these requirements have been met, a plot's title will be edited to include the prefix 'COMPLETED:' and you will no longer be able to participate in it.

Like most sites, Stars conducts regular activity checks. As to when these are, well, that's entirely up to the staff. All past activity checks will be archived here and marked with the prefix 'COMPLETED:' whereas if there is a current activity check posted it will be marked with the prefix 'ONGOING:' so please to check to see if there is an ongoing check every so often.

All current residents of Phoex Academy are listed here along with a complete description of them. Files will be found in alphabetical order and separated based on whether the resident is a student or teacher at the academy.

Sub-boards: Students, Teachers, Graduates

This is where you can keep track of a character's Pokemon, where they are (i.e. party, PC), what a character's partner Pokemon is, their current inventory, and so on. There is a template provided, but you do not have to use it if you'd rather make your own. THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL CHARACTERS.

Though these are more popular on Invisionfree, it seemed logical within a school setting such as Phoex to have them. Friends, enemies, crushes, whatever; your character's bound to have them. Here's the place to make that happen. Just look at other threads if you're confused about how these work.

There's always some point in role playing when you need that character, and plot ads just don't help you. If you're in need of a specific character you can't find other than it being made specifically for a certain purpose, feel free to post here; someone's bound to be interested in the idea! And remember, if you're bumping a topic, please only bump once every three days to be fair to others. this board is guest friendly!

Of course teenagers are attached to technology. You live in the present, you've got all the latest gadgets. Instant messaging and cell phones are just two of those tools; the means to talk to someone right at your fingertips without even having to get up. Be sure to visit the screen name claim and phone number index stickied inside before making a thread.

People may set up threads for trades here, if they wish to, or may offer Pokémon for the Pokémon of others. You may not give Pokémon away, and you may not trade a character's partner Pokémon. Thinking about breeding your Pokémon, but don't know how? Never fear, there's specialized breeders on campus just to help you out. And of course, there's always those poor helpless Pokémon stuck without a home, will you take one?

If you are advertising on Stars, please be sure to post in the right sub-board. Occasionally, the staff will run checks of sites that have advertised here; if your site is deemed inactive, your ad will be removed.
